Learning South Sudan,Phil and Janet's Visit

On Thursday the 21st of march after community time in room 5 we got to see some missionaries😃😃😃😃 , Phil and Janet from South Sudan. Firstly I learnt about South Sudan is that lots of girls in Sudan don't go to school because the parents think they will find a boyfriend and then get married and then have no Education. Secondly that is some people have different scars on there heads to show what kinds of tribes there from and that it is dangerous to travel on the roads of Sudan. Thirdly South Sudan has no Electricity and no sewers for toilets and not that much have anything to do. Next is that people to travel from  plane and Some schools are not made from concrete and they are made out of mainly sticks, Hay or even mud for mud walls and to support the little huts. Lastly is that there is not that many Doctor in South sudan.

On Tuesday the 19th of march the Batten team has been watching and learning about the waterways Environment ,it was about our waterways. What I learnt that the water never run out and that salt water can turn into fresh water by desalination. This is a very expensive way to get fresh water. Next is about plants. Plants are good for our waterways because it will block soil from dirt going in the water. West Auckland's traps,West Auckland's traps stop the Pollution from going into our waters of NZ. Mackenzie has allot of pollution for their waters.

Global play day week 3 of school

On Friday Week Three of school that me and my friends Cohen,Joshua,Ethan and Noah made a domino stack.When we finished the first one it was on a Staircase and once it was done Our Teacher Had Video the Domino and on the second one It was on a bench that my Friends helped carrying with and after that we knocked the first one and it worked!!!
